Reported in Antiques & Fine Art Magazine, the $10 million robbery of the home of “The King of Bonds” Jeffrey Gundlach, chief executive officer of DoubleLine Capital LP, on September 12 included pieces by Jasper Johns (b. 1930), Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) and Guy Rose (1867-1925). Gundlach, a well-known fine art connoisseur, is offering a $200,000 reward for any information leading to the recovery of the stolen goods.
