Art Nouveau oval centerpiece, with twist vine handles and openwork bracket feet, featuring a removeable gilt metal liner.  (one side engraved with monogram PH).  Maker is M.H. Wilkens & Sohne,Bremen-Hemlingen, and retailed by J. Schumacher.  Germany, circa 1900.
