A Fine Pair of Sèvres Jeweled Cobalt-Blue Ground and Ormolu-mounted Porcelain Vases.
Each modeled after the Sèvres ‘Vase Grec à Ornements’ with the coronet-form covers, finely painted with either a roundel of Louis XV or Louis XVI surrounded by portraits of court beauties, identified above, the fluted neck, lower body and socle enriched with gilt foil and turquoise, ruby and pearl jewels. French, late 19th century.
