Description

Pair of Danish silver compotes and covers, no. 43, Georg Jensen, Copenhagen, 1945-77.   Designed by Johan Rohde in 1908, lightly spot-hammered, the circular bases rising to baluster stems topped by openwork berried scrolls supporting deep circular bowls, the low-domed covers with baluster finials. Marked on bases.
