Our Contemporary Art Exhibition Series Edition I., featuring the work of several female Asian artists working in New York City, is on until March 31st.
Zahra Nazari’s large-scale abstracted and architectonic paintings and installations are based on the ruins of historical sites in Iran in conjunction with American postmodern architectural forms.

Gao Yuan’s fine art photographs explores cultural identity and the multi-layered arts of a society using symbols and signs from ancient painting, graffiti art, and even tattoos.
O Zhang addresses the universal longing of cultivated human being to escape their quotidian world to commune with nature.
Shiva Jlayer being interviewed. Shiva’s works vary from representational and surrealistic portraits to Persepolis paintings in remembrance of her father’s (Mehdi Jlayer) works.
MAAC on the Map runs daily (until March 31st) here at the Manhattan Art and Antiques Center (1050 2nd Avenue, at 56th Street).
