Superb Neoclassical Intaglio Brooch of Poseidon on Shell Being Led by Two Dolphins. Superb two tone carnelian of Poseidon on a shell being led by two dolphins. The top a rich dark orange color representing the sky and the paler carnelian engraved to represent the sea. Exceptionally well carved. Carnelian and 18K gold with Roman setting. Circa 1800.
