August Art: Two Tours

Art by Alisa Baremboym - from High Line Art: Mutationsg

It’s still summer, fortunately. Also, fortunately: Art is both hot – and very cool.

Take a look at these two tour options for a dose of culture along with your summer fun.

The Guggenheim has “Summer Saturday Tours” with their Gallery Educators.  You can learn”how architect Frank Lloyd changed the viewer’s relationship to art”, “record your perspective through drawing” or discuss an art or artist in the exhibit Visionaries: Creating a Modern Guggenheim.

The historic High Line continues to offer “ART TOUR: Mutations” on the Second Mondays (until September 6th).

“From sculptures and murals to performances and videos, the High Line is filled with public art. Join High Line Art Assistant Curator, Melanie Kress for an insider’s view on High Line Art’s current Mutations exhibition.”
