Superb Large Antique Carnelian Intaglio Ring. Large oval intaglio set into a gold ring mounting. Roman set with chased back, triple ribbed shank. The intaglio is engraved with a wonderful allegorical scene, beautifully carved. Carnelian and gold, European, circa 1830.
