A message from our dealer Brian Gaisford, passionate conservationist and owner of Hemingway African Gallery:

Dear Cecil Supporters,

I am just back from Zimbabwe where I tried to get to the bottom of how Dr. Palmer of Minnesota allegedly killed Cecil the Lion. The media has presented many versions and inaccuracies of this tragedy. We have the detailed facts about what really happened.

I invite you to Hemingway African Gallery sit with us to hear about the Long Shields, the team charged with protecting Cecil and other lions in Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. Now they face new struggles to protect the remaining lions in Hwange.

Cecil is not the first lion with a collar to be killed illegally in the same area. Dr. Palmer is only one of many Americans to have shot a collared lion both legally and illegally. Come hear the full story and join in the discussion on how we should move forward to protect our few remaining wild lions.

Best,

Brian Gaisford
